The Wheelers have teamed up with the Mid Sussex Tri Club to run a weekly session on Wednesday nights instead of the Haywards Heath Hilly as the weather turns more wintery.
These sessions take place in the Green Sports hall at Warden Park School in Cuckfield between 20:00 and 21:30. Sessions are varied and have been put together scientifically and have been designed to produce results. If you are not doing them you will be missing out.
The session will be for approx an hour with time to set up and take down. But arrive at 8pm as there are some keen to get started people going.
The hall is a fantastic venue with mirrored walls on two sides. The floor is a cushioned lino so you will need to bring some floor protection to avoid denting the floor. A piece of plywood or a hard mat should do the trick.
School details can be found in the following link or contact Dougie Fox for more details. 07808 248060

Within the Turbo session we will cover a wide variety of skills and fitness to aid the winter training.
There will be a small cost of £2 to cover the hire of the hall. Please come along and get the training in and book that PB/Goal for next year!
Saturday 25th Feb spin starting from the Dolphin Leisure Center Haywards Heath.
This weekend George Thomas is going to head out for an easy spin for 40 ish miles, meet at the leisure center at 8am. Hope to see as many out as possible, not sure what the weather is going to be but it should be an easy ride as there is a TT the next day, details below.
Time Trials
Yellow TT books are available at £3 each, contact Rupert Robinson to order by 23rd Feb.
On Sunday 26th February we have the second Club time trial on the hilly GS/188 course. The start time is 09.30 but please get there in enough time to get signed on and warmed up. Signing on takes place in the cricket field car park around the corner from the start. The start is next to Faygate Station. For those unfamiliar with the course, here is my Garmin link of the route.
After the race we're planning a meeting for anyone interested in racing time trials or road races this year - especially anyone who fancies racing for the first time. The idea is to get everyone's thoughts on what they want to do & try to set it such that we get a team in the events we are all looking to ride.
Meeting is 11.15am on Sunday 26th in the main cafe at Pease Pottage Services. This is after the club TT for those riding that but all welcome whether riding the TT or not (you can always come along & watch us suffer anyway!).
If you can not make it but are interested in racing please can you e-mail Richard H (road race secretary), Rupert (TT Secretary) or Mark Smith so we can bring your wishes into the discussion.
Here's to a good summer season for all!
The following Sunday, the 4th March, see's the Clubs 2-Up 25 mile team time trial on G25/53,
here is a link to that course. This is our club 25 course and is used almost most weekends during the season by us and many other clubs. We have several riders who have already paired up and some solo riders so hope to see you there. This race starts at 08.30 and signing on is adjacent to the start at Robin Hood roundabout.
Please note as these are club time trials they are not sign posted so please make yourself familiar with the routes. Also it will cost you £2 to race if your subs are fully paid up and £4 if not. Both of these races count towards the Club Events Trophy.
