Crawley Wheelers' Saturday Social Rides

Welcome to the home area for the social rides. Here you can find out all about the Saturday rides that will be running from early spring right through to the autumn. All rides will use one of a number of set, risk assessed circular routes enabling you to see in advance where you will be going on any of the rides. All routes present an opportunity for a refreshment stop, so feel free to bring a little money along with you however there is no charge for any of the rides.  Each ride will have a ride leader and route leader both with their own set of responsibilities.

Riders should meet at Virgin Active on Crawley Leisure Park at 9:45 for a 10:00 departure. Helmets are compulsory for all riders and we also advise bringing a drink, if your bike has a bottle cage and a spare inner tube, just in case.

The time taken to complete a ride will depend both on the distance of the ride and the speed. The rides will be at the speed of the slowest rider in the group to avoid the group splitting on the ride.
