Club Time Trial Results #1

Riders in the first club time trial of the year faced cool and cloudy conditions on the Horne course last Thursday. With many club members enjoying the sun in Mallorca it wasn’t surprising that numbers were down for the TT, hopefully they’ll be back closer to normal this week.

Of the Crawley Wheelers it was Brian Maher who clocked the fastest time with a 24.34 on his TT bike. Sam Cheesman and Gary Thayre were on road bikes with Sam just pipping Gary with his 26.21 to Gary’s 26.55. Julie put down an impressive 27.20 on her TT bike, running Gary pretty close for household bragging rights. Grant Walder, riding for C&N Cycles, was fastest of all on the night with 24.11.

However, once VTTA age adjustments were applied the results have a slightly different look.
